Details on our Holiday Dinner Party!

Details on tomorrow night's Holiday Dinner Party:

We will have a packed house tomorrow (Thursday, December 7), so we are asking everyone's cooperation and attention to time.  We want everyone to enjoy a nice meal as a family and participate in some fun activities together.

In the cafeteria during your dinner reservation time, you will also decorate cookies with sprinkles (we'll bake them so you can take them home warm!), and complete a family talk activity about your favorite holiday tradition.  We've allowed 40 minutes for this.

In addition, other rooms/hallway areas will include:  Book Bingo (play a few games with a chance for kids to win a new book of their choice), Holiday Math Games, and a craft.  The craft includes each person making a personalized ornament using Scrabble pieces.

Please plan your evening accordingly:

  • If you have a 5:00pm dinner reservation, please arrive by 5pm and report to the cafeteria for dinner.  At 5:40pm, you'll be able to go to the activity areas for bingo, games, and the craft.
  • If you have a 5:40pm dinner reservation, you should decide if you want to do activities before or after you eat.  If you want to do activities before dinner, arrive by 5pm and do the activities, then eat at 5:40pm.  If you can't arrive before 5:40, you will eat at 5:40, then do activities and crafts afterwards at 6:20pm.
  • If you have a 6:20pm dinner reservation, you should plan to come before that time in order to do the activities and craft before you eat -- maybe arrive around 5:40 or so.  Please note that activities and crafts end at 7:00pm, so you will not have the opportunity to do them afterwards.

Our LHS Holiday Band Concert begins at 7:00pm in the Faragher Fine Arts Center.  We invite all families to enjoy their seasonal music to close a great family evening together.
