Central Office Staff

borchersMichael J. Borchers, Superintendent
Mr. Borchers is in his 23rd year in education, all spent at the Ludlow Independent School District.  His years as a panther have included a number of different roles, including Math Teacher, Coach, Middle and High School Principal, and Director of Curriculum.  In the spring of 2011, Mr. Borchers was named as Superintendent of Ludlow Schools.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northern Kentucky University and his Master's in Education from the University of Cincinnati.  He attended Xavier University for both his Rank I Program and his Superintendent's Certificate. Mr. Borchers resides in Taylor Mill with his wife, Susan, also a teacher, and their three children. 

 

Beth Ketzer, Director of Special Education & Preschool

Mrs. Ketzer has spent the last 19 of her 41 years in education at the Ludlow Independent School District.  Her work has primarily been with special education and the preschool program.  Mrs. Ketzer earned her Bachelor's Degree from Morehead State University, her Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University, and Rank I and Leadership Certificate from Xavier University.  Beth and her husband, Bob, have two sons, and reside in Cincinnati.

 

Jenny McMillen, College & Career Readiness Coordinator

Mrs. McMillen is in her 22nd year in education, all spent in the Ludlow Independent School District.  Before her current role, she served as a Special Needs Teacher and High School Guidance Counselor.  Mrs. McMillen earned her Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University.  She also completed a Master's Degree and Rank I Program in School Counseling at Xavier University.  Jenny resides in Ludlow with her husband, Woody, and their two sons, both of whom attend Ludlow High School.

 

Kyle Fancher, District Technology Coordinator 

Mr. Fancher is in his 6th year in education, all spent in the Ludlow Independent School District. Before his current role of District Technology Coordinator, he served as an Instructional Technology Coach and an Elementary Teacher.  Mr. Fancher earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Morehead State University and a Masters in Technology Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands.  Kyle resides on his farm in California, KY with his wife, Kristina, and their two sons, one of whom attends Mary A. Goetz Elementary.

 

Randy Wofford, Director of Maintenance & Transportation 

Mr. Wofford graduated from Ludlow High School in 1992 and was named to his current position eleven years ago.  He also serves as the Boys Basketball Varsity Coach and Assistant Football Coach.  Mr. Wofford is a veteran of the United States Army, and has extensive training in electrical technology, construction, and maintenance.  Randy's wife is Vikki, Ludlow's Financial Analyst.  The Woffords are longtime residents of Ludlow.

 

Vikki Wofford, Financial Analyst

Mrs. Wofford is in her sixth year as the Financial Analyst, although she has long had ties to Ludlow Independent Schools. Mrs. Wofford has coached basketball and volleyball at LHS for a number of years.  She is also a proud member of the LHS Class of 1990.  Mrs. Wofford holds degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting from Thomas More College.  Vikki and Randy live in Ludlow, where they've raised two daughters, both LHS graduates.

 

Cheryl Winkle, Administrative Assistant

Cheryl has worked in education for 28 years, with 17 of those at Ludlow Independent Schools.  She is an alumnus of LHS, as a proud member of the Class of 1983.  Cheryl manages the board of education office and oversees human resources for the district.  Cheryl resides in Florence with her twin daughters, and has three boys, two daughters-in-law, and a granddaughter.
