Dear Abby,
I am really tired of this stupid my plate. I eat 6 grains, 2 fruits, 3 vegetables, 3 dairy products and 6 meats a day. But I keep gaining weight. I thought if I followed these dumb guidelines I would lose weight. 
I'll give you an example. For breakfast I had 2 scrambled eggs, a glass of milk, a grapefruit and 2 pieces of toast. So that's, one of each food and I do that 6 times a day.  What's the problem?
