Summer Camps

The SOAR Program provides FREE Summer Camps!

Monday-Thursday · 9:00am-2:00pm

Breakfast served from 8:30-9:00am

Going Wild! (June 4-7)

Do you think you have what it takes to survive in the wilderness?  Come test your nature knowledge with us!  We will receive training on outdoor survival skills and test them during adventures at the EKU Low Ropes Course and Big Bone Lick State Park

How it Works (June 11-14)

Get your motor running!  Visit and view the amazing automation and technology being used at Duke Energy, Toyota and General Electric. Build your own robots, check out drones, and experience how science is used to make your world a better place.

Picture Perfect (June 18-21)

If a picture’s worth a thousand words, how much would a book of photos be worth?  After a few lessons on snapping and editing pictures, we’ll visit the Cincinnati Zoo to do some clicking of our own! Each student will go home with a personal momento of summer camp. Mark your calendars! Family portraits will be taken on Monday, June 18. Free 5x7s will be given to each participating family.

SOAR Service (June 25-28)

Open your heart and see what a difference one week can make. Meet therapy dogs, make dog treats, toys and beds, and reach out to the community to support your kind efforts. Wrap up the week with a thank-you luncheon and visit to the Kenton County Animal Shelter. It will do your heart good!

Please contact Ms. Beccaccio for registration information
