Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year.  The summer has flown by and it is time for students to return to school.  What a change the summer has made for our school and our school district!  As students begin to return to school, they will notice classrooms are freshly painted, new computers in all the labs, and construction beginning on the new fitness center by the high school gym.  We are continuing to work to improve our facilities for our students to create a great school experience for our children.

In our SHINE program, we will be offering more morning programs before school each day AND programs after school each day for our students.  This is serviced through our 21st Century Grant that we were awarded last school year and will continue with for the next 4 years.

This coming school year, we have expanded our Preschool program to offer parents an all-day option, 5 days a week.  This will ensure that our 3 and 4 year olds will recieve quality instruction each day, and provide before and afterschool childcare for our students.

As you can see, a lot of things are going on here at the school and we are proud to provide more and more opportunites for our students.  We are asking all parents to stop by througout the summer to pay fees and find out your child's teacher for the coming school year.  Remember Pantherfest is on Tuesday, August 18th and school starts Thursday, August 20th.  Please make sure that stop in to pay your students fees.  Students fees are $40 a year and are crucial in continuing to provide materials for our students.
