Principal's Message

As we look forward to the the 2012-2013 school year here at Mary A. Goetz Elementary, you will notice some changes around the facility and in the classrooms. Over the summer, the staff has worked hard to prepare the building for this school year. We have installed a new gym floor in the elementary gym, painted many of the hallways and classrooms, and the entire campus is now wireless for students and teachers to access the Internet with their personal computing devices. There are also some new faces that will be teaching this school year. Ms. Lindeman will be our new 4th grade teacher, along with Mrs. Hansman in 5th and Mr. Fancher in 6th. They, along with the rest of the staff are looking forward to the new school year.

Extra-curriculars are an important part of a well-rounded student. So along with our full complement of athletic teams, we have added an Activities Coordinator to add clubs and academic team opportunities for our students. This will provide all students with extra-curricular activities for both athletics and academics.

The changes that were made over the summer are just a sample of great things to come as we provide the best possible education and opportunities for our students. If there is anything we can improve upon, we welcome input from our parents and students.

We are proud of our accomplishments and look forward to the advancing of our students in their preparation for college and beyond.
