Homecoming Week is Upon Us! spiritweek

Homecoming Spirit Week at LHS is October 14-18!  Dress up and celebrate the week! 

Monday:  Western Day (dress like a cowboy/cowgirl)

Tuesday:  Twin Day (dress like your bestie!)

Wednesday:  Pajama Day

Thursday:  Generation Day (wear items from your favorite decade)

Friday:  Crazy Red & Black Day

The parade starts at 6:00 PM.  Be sure to line the streets and cheer on the classes in their floats, the homecoming candidates, and other groups in our parade!  The float theme this year is "Favorite Cereals".  Game time is 7:00 PM.  Root on a panther victory over the Bellevue Tigers!  The crowing of the queen and the float winner announcement will take place at halftime of the game.  The dance will rock from 9:00 PM - 12:00 AM in the HS Gym!  All students in Grades 9-12, and their dates, are invited.  Cost for the dance is $5 at the door.  Snacks and drinks will be sold.

Notice of Vacant Board of Education Seat board

The Ludlow Board of Education (“Board”) is seeking applications for appointment to fill a vacancy on the Board representing the District at large Ludlow Independent Schools. This appointment will be effective until the November 2020 regular election.

Responsibilities include: setting policy to govern the District: hiring/evaluating the Superintendent; and levying taxes and adopting the District budget. Board members must:

  • Be at least 24 years old and a Kentucky citizen for the last three years;
  • Be a registered voter in the particular District of the vacancy;
  • Have completed the 12th grade or have a GED certificate;
  • Meet all other legal qualifications (KRS 160.180); and
  • Complete required annual in-service training.

Bronze Medal

Congratulations to the students, faculty, and families of Ludlow Independent Schools!  Ludlow High School was awarded a BRONZE MEDAL from U.S. News & World Report in 2018!  That ranks us in the Top 29% of school nationally, and in the Top 23% in Kentucky!  Way to go, Panthers!
