Mike Borchers

Superintendent
Ludlow High School, Mary A. Goetz Elementary School

Mr. Borchers is in his 29th year in education, all spent at the Ludlow Independent School District. His years as a panther have included a number of different roles, including Math Teacher, Coach, Middle and High School Principal, and Director of Curriculum. In the spring of 2011, Mr. Borchers was named as Superintendent of Ludlow Schools. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northern Kentucky University and his Master's in Education from the University of Cincinnati. He attended Xavier University for both his Rank I Program and his Superintendent's Certificate. Mr. Borchers resides in Taylor Mill with his wife, Susan, and their three children.

Dr. Jason Steffen

Director of Teaching & Learning

Dr. Steffen is a 2001 graduate of Northern Kentucky University with Bachelor's Degrees in History and Education.  He has completed his Master's Degree in Education Administration and Rank I from Xavier University.  In 2018, he completed his Doctorate of Education from the University of the Cumberlands.  He holds certification for Social Studies 5-12, All Grades Principal, Supervisor of Instruction, Director of Pupil Personnel, and Superintendency.  

Jennifer McMillen

I'm incredibly proud to be a Ludlow Panther!  The 2023-2024 school year is my 28th year in education, all spent in the wonderful Ludlow Independent School District. Before my current role, I served as a Special Needs Teacher and High School Guidance Counselor. I earned my Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University, then completed a Master's Degree and Rank I Program in School Counseling at Xavier University. My family resides in Ludlow: My husband, Woody, is a teacher and coach at Ludlow High School. We have two sons who are Ludlow graduates: Jack attends NKU and Ben attends WKU.   #togetherweprowl

Aubrey Cahill

Director of Special Education & Preschool
Ludlow High School, Mary A. Goetz Elementary School

Mrs. Cahill is in her 14th year in education, all spent at Ludlow. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Bellarmine University, a Master's Degree in Gifted/Talented Education from Northern Kentucky University, and a Rank I in Special Education Director from the University of the Cumberlands. Aubrey lives in Hebron with her husband and three children.

Kyle Fancher

Chief Information Officer
Ludlow High School, Mary A. Goetz Elementary School

Mr. Fancher is in his 10th year in education, all spent in the Ludlow Independent School District. Before his current role of District Technology Coordinator, he served as an Instructional Technology Coach and an Elementary Teacher. Mr. Fancher earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Morehead State University and a Masters in Technology Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. Kyle resides on his farm in California, KY with his wife, Kristina, and their two sons, one of whom attends Mary A. Goetz Elementary.

Todd Brewer

Director of Maintenance & Transportation
Ludlow High School, Mary A. Goetz Elementary School
Todd is in his 14th year with Ludlow Independent Schools working with maintenance and transportation, but has been involved with coaching various sports for the last 20 years. He came to Ludlow with 20 years of management experience.

Todd is a proud member of the Class of 1987, and his wife, Meredith, the LHS Class of 1989. They reside in Ludlow with their children, Will and Elizabeth.

Lisa Brownfield

Food Service Director

Lisa is a proud graduate of Ludlow High School, where she's raised two sons who are also both graduates of LHS.

Vikki Wofford

Chief Financial Officer
Ludlow High School, Mary A. Goetz Elementary School

Mrs. Wofford is in her eleventh year as Chief Financial Officer, although she has long had ties to Ludlow Independent Schools. Mrs. Wofford coached basketball and volleyball at LHS for a number of years. She is also a proud member of the LHS Class of 1990. Mrs. Wofford holds degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting from Thomas More College. Vikki and her husband, Randy, live in Ludlow, where they've raised two daughters, both LHS graduates.

Kellie Trammel

District Office Administrative Manager
Ludlow High School, Mary A. Goetz Elementary School

Kellie is in her 24th year with the Ludlow Independent School District, most spent in the elementary office. She started in her current role in the central office in 2019. Kellie and her husband, Scott, a Ludlow alumnus, live in Villa Hills and have two grown sons.
