Behavior Chart Overview

Behavior System and Overview

With our behavior chart, students have the opportunity to move up the chart! Every child begins their day on Green. If a student is given too many warnings to stop a behavior they will be asked to clip down to Yellow. ("Make Healthier Choices"). If the behaviors continue they may be asked to clip further down to Orange, ("Show Self-Control") or even Red ("Let's Talk to Mom or Dad") depending on the behavior.  This will result in some loss of recess time and a note sent home. However, if your child is going above and beyond the expectations they will have an opportunity to move up the chart as well! If they move up once to Blue ("Sweet Success") they will receive a piece of candy from our treat jar.  If they make it to Purple ("Walking on Sunshine") they also receive a Panther Buck.  If they are moved all the way to Pink ("Soaring to New Heights") they will receive extra computer time in the classroom.  This system gives students the opportunity to make their day better and that's what we love about it!
