3rd Grade Teacher

Room 215

Welcome to 3rd grade! This is my 26th year teaching elementary school! My teaching career began when I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Illinois Wesleyan University. I later earned a Master of Education from Xavier University as a Reading Specialist, and a Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership from Northern Kentucky University.

I love teaching 3rd grade!  Over the years, I have taught in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms, as well as Computer Lab Technology and Math Intervention. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, reading, running, and doing yoga.

With my husband, two children, and three dogs, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. My oldest daughter attends Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She is majoring in Middle School Education. My youngest daughter is a Freshman Visual Arts major at The School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati.  My husband runs our daycare business in Milford. We have a very busy, but exciting life!

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will receive weekly email updates and reminders from me. (Please be sure we have your current email on file.) Additionally, you can follow me on Twitter @IronsBird and Ludlow Schools @ludlowschools.
